Reading and Rambling
I am a single mom who spends all my free time reading to escape the craziness of real life. Everything I read features hot men loving other hot men, probably due to the lack of hot men in my own life. I recently tried my hand at the writing game. My first short, Risking the Field, will be hitting the public this summer thanks to the Don't Read in the Closet event held every year by the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads. I write under the name Jean McGray, an hommage to my grandfather and my high school nickname.
Going Deep
This was most definitely a hot story. Dylan moved from Iowa on the hopes of being the next star QB for the Oakland Raiders (GO PATRIOTS!!!) and never made the cut. Instead, he ends up delivering pizzas and being propositioned by his customers. Until he meets Madison Henning and gets a job modeling for him. That leads him to Tatarus Films and gay porn, where he meets Rippin Long (Lord, is there a cheesier porn name than that?) It is love at first sight for Dylan and he has to convince Rippin, better known as Sean, that he should give love a chance.My major issue with this book is that it all takes place in a week. A frickin' week from "hey, I'm a straight guy delivering pizza who dreams of playing football" to "I'm a gay guy doing porn madly in love with another porn star" with NO anxiety about being with a guy for the first time or anything like that. No freaking out, just flipped a switch and "hey, I'm into dudes now!" lol
