Reading and Rambling
I am a single mom who spends all my free time reading to escape the craziness of real life. Everything I read features hot men loving other hot men, probably due to the lack of hot men in my own life. I recently tried my hand at the writing game. My first short, Risking the Field, will be hitting the public this summer thanks to the Don't Read in the Closet event held every year by the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads. I write under the name Jean McGray, an hommage to my grandfather and my high school nickname.
Angel and the Assassin
Really a 3.5 star read for me. I have to deduct points for the overabundant use of Daddy because it just annoyed the HELL out of me. Daddy kink just isn’t my thing, even though I did like the chemistry between Angel and Kael. They both needed something that only the other could give. Kael didn’t know what his life was missing until he took Angel with him instead of dealing with him the way he should have. And Angel found that strong man he had always dreamed of to keep his sassy attitude in check. I probably will give book 2 a chance, Daddy be damned!
