Reading and Rambling
I am a single mom who spends all my free time reading to escape the craziness of real life. Everything I read features hot men loving other hot men, probably due to the lack of hot men in my own life. I recently tried my hand at the writing game. My first short, Risking the Field, will be hitting the public this summer thanks to the Don't Read in the Closet event held every year by the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads. I write under the name Jean McGray, an hommage to my grandfather and my high school nickname.
Saugatuck Summer
Topher is a mess! He grew up with an alcoholic, emotional abusive mother, an aunt and uncle who belittled and hated everything that made him who he was, and then he has an affair with his best friend’s married, closeted father. Enter Jace, an artist he meets on the beach and has an amazing night with. He thinks he’ll never see him again, but right after everything with his friend’s father implodes, Jace reappears. With Jace’s help, Topher is able to start healing and forgiving himself for the mistakes he’s made. Throw in some super-hot sex (the bathhouse scene WOW!!!!) and you have a really great book!
