Reading and Rambling
I am a single mom who spends all my free time reading to escape the craziness of real life. Everything I read features hot men loving other hot men, probably due to the lack of hot men in my own life. I recently tried my hand at the writing game. My first short, Risking the Field, will be hitting the public this summer thanks to the Don't Read in the Closet event held every year by the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads. I write under the name Jean McGray, an hommage to my grandfather and my high school nickname.
The Devil's Ride
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through the DBML program in the M/M Romance group. There is nothing sexier than an alpha male. Bikers are an elite group of alpha males and Tooth is no exception. Yum!
Lucifer was left alone when his mother committed suicide, having been abandoned by his biker father long ago. He makes a living selling lapdances and his talents at a strip club before he is discovered by his father and taken back to the Coffin Nails' Clubhouse. There, he is put under the care of Tooth, a super-sexy, in the closet biker with a special talent for torture.
The slow build-up between Luci and Tooth had me turning the pages as fast as I could. There were twists I never saw coming and my heart hurt for Luci and Tooth more than once. I felt like I was watching an entire season of Sons of Anarchy and I loved every second of it. I can't wait for the next installment!
