Reading and Rambling
I am a single mom who spends all my free time reading to escape the craziness of real life. Everything I read features hot men loving other hot men, probably due to the lack of hot men in my own life. I recently tried my hand at the writing game. My first short, Risking the Field, will be hitting the public this summer thanks to the Don't Read in the Closet event held every year by the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads. I write under the name Jean McGray, an hommage to my grandfather and my high school nickname.
A Clean Break
David and Isaac have left Zebulon behind and are starting over in San Francisco with the help of Isaac's brother, Aaron and his wife, Jen. Their transition into the English world isn't easy and they are struggling with the loss of all that was familiar and being bombarded by their newfound freedom and all that comes with it. I loved this story, but not as much as the first. The innocence was still there, but David drove me nuts. I wanted to smack him. And I knew we would be left hanging, waiting for the final book in the trilogy, but not quite in the way we were. Now comes the impatient waiting for the finale!
