Reading and Rambling
I am a single mom who spends all my free time reading to escape the craziness of real life. Everything I read features hot men loving other hot men, probably due to the lack of hot men in my own life. I recently tried my hand at the writing game. My first short, Risking the Field, will be hitting the public this summer thanks to the Don't Read in the Closet event held every year by the M/M Romance Group on Goodreads. I write under the name Jean McGray, an hommage to my grandfather and my high school nickname.
Power Exchange
I finally got around to reading Power Exchange and I am so glad I did. I wasn't sure I was going to be into it because BDSM isn't really my thing, but I was hooked from page 1. Gavin and Ben are amazing characters and I loved everything about them. Gavin was so real. He may have gotten into the scene quickly, but he didn't lose who he was and become the doormat some authors portray new subs as. I also loved the epilogue and how true to life that was. I can't wait to read Safeword to see how their relationship continues to recover.
